งานประกาศรางวัล Emmy Awards 2024 ได้เริ่มขึ้นอย่างเป็นทางการเมื่อเช้าตรู่วันนี้ ณ Peacock Theater ลอสแอนเจลิส โดยปีนี้คนบันเทิงฝั่งทีวีได้ตบเท้าเข้าร่วมงานกันอย่างครึกครื้น อาทิ Jeremy Allen White นักแสดงหนุ่มสุดฮอตจากซีรีส์เรื่อง The Bear ที่ถูกเสนอชื่อเข้าชิงรางวัล 23 สาขา ขึ้นแท่นเป็นซีรีส์แนวคอเมดี้ที่เข้าชิงมากที่สุดในหมวดนี้ ทำลายสถิติเรื่อง 30 Rock ที่เคยทำไว้เมื่อปี 2009 กับการเข้าชิง 22 สาขา

นอกจากนั้นยังมี Hiroyuki Sanada และ Anna Sawai สองนักแสดงจาก Shōgun ซีรีส์แนวดราม่าที่มีรายชื่อเข้าชิงมากที่สุดในงานถูกเสนอชื่อเข้าชิงกว่า 25 สาขา และปิดท้ายกับ Only Murders in the Building ที่ได้รับการเสนอเข้าชิงกว่า 21 สาขา

ปีนี้ Emmy Awards ถูกจัดขึ้นสองครั้ง เนื่องจากงานของปีที่แล้วถูกเลื่อนมาจัดขึ้นในเดือนมกราคมที่ผ่านมา ชาวแอลเมนไปดูกันดีกว่าว่าจะซีรีส์เรื่องไหนและนักแสดงคนไหนเข้าชิงรางวัลอะไรบ้าง และจะมีใครคว้ารางวัล Emmy กลับบ้านไป
